Meet Penang-born Eleen Tan,
an Art Educator and Fashion Illustrator whose work has been featured in VOGUE and highlighted in TATLER Asia.

Eleen's fashion illustrations encapsulate the demeanor of socialites and fashion icons in a frenzied runway show, gleaming under bright lights. Glamorous and très chic, they immerse viewers in a vibrant imaginary world, brought to life with feminine brush strokes, gradient watercolour finishes, and poised human silhouettes.

Eleen Tan, Fashion Illustrator & Educator

Eleen Tan is a Malaysian Fashion Illustrator and Lecturer recognised for her elegant visual storytelling and refined fashion imagery. Since 2010, she has collaborated with international luxury fashion and beauty brands while contributing to Malaysia’s leading fashion publications.

Eleen holds a Master of Arts in Visual Communication (Distinction) from Birmingham City University, specialising in Fashion Illustration. She also graduated with First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Visual Communication and began her artistic journey with a Diploma in Illustration from The One Academy of Communication Design under The Star Education Fund scholarship.

Her clients include globally renowned houses such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Roger Vivier. She has also worked with designers including Cassey Gan and Bremen Wong. In addition, she contributed to the 2018 publication Fashion Sketching: A Complete Guidebook for Beginners by SendPoints Publishing Ltd., a respected Hong Kong-based art and design publisher.

Alongside her industry practice, Eleen lectures in Fashion Drawing at Sunway College for the Fashion Design Technology and Fashion Media programmes, and contributes to the BA (Hons) in Fashion Marketing and Graphic Design programmes at First City University College. She also serves as External Advisor for the Graphic Design Final Year Project at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), and earlier in her career, taught Illustration at The One Academy.

As both practitioner and educator, Eleen bridges industry and academia, equipping students with technical excellence, creative confidence, and industry awareness.
